The Soul Stone — The First Infinity Stone Printed in Magic
A two-mana indestructible legendary artifact that taps for black mana on its own, The Soul Stone becomes something else entirely once harnessed: pay {6}{B}, tap it, and exile a creature you control to harness it. Once harnessed, it gains an upkeep trigger that returns a creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield every turn from then on. A slow build, but a genuinely repeatable reanimation engine once it comes online — and historically significant as the card that opened the door to every Infinity Stone since, including The Mind Stone from Marvel Super Heroes.
One important catch: The Soul Stone stays harnessed only while it remains on the battlefield. If it leaves the battlefield and returns, it is a new object and must be harnessed again before the ∞ ability becomes active.
